MAGIC OF DOLLS
The Cape Coral Doll Guild and Fort Myers Doll Club present their annual Doll Show and Sale, Saturday, February 11, 2012.
It will be held at the ARABA TEMPLE, 2010 Hanson St., Fort Myers, Florida, February 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For the serious collector as well as the casual observer this is a "must see" show for 2012. Admission is $4.00 for adults and children 10 and under are free.
This Doll Show and Sale is your source for the needs of both the collector and the doll artist. Sales tables will feature antique to modern dolls and toys, doll clothing, furniture, supplies, lace, ribbon and fabric.
Proceeds of Show go to local Charities.
Lunch will be available for purchase on the premises.

Le Paris Fashion Doll Festival will take place March 9-12th, 2012 at the Novotel- Paris Est, Porte de Bagnolet.
The theme will be "La Belle Epoque".

Italian Fashion Doll Convention
On May 28 & 29, Milan, Italy will be the site of the Italian Doll Convention. The theme is the "Italian Way." One of the events invites participants to dress as their favorite Barbie and walk the catwalk. My favorite rule says you are not allowed to "think anything like I am too short/fat/shy/old to dress like a Barbie to do this." That sounds like so much fun. I hope someone videotapes it.
As part of the convention, twelve uber-talented doll artists have donated beautiful work to be auctioned off on eBay on May 15, 2011 with 100% of the proceeds going to the Fondazione Blu Onlus.
